Credit Analyst

Position Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to work with customers to pay us on a timely basis according to the established terms, and to monitor outstanding receivables and the total of pending shipments against established credit limits.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor accounts to insure prompt payment. Make collection calls on a daily basis.

Posting cash on a daily basis and review of collection receipts.

Prepare customer statements at month end and prepare finance charges.

Balance cash and accounts receivable to general ledger daily and prepare month end report.

Assist customers on a daily basis by answering questions and addressing issues.

Administrative role to Experian reporting for all Knapheide entities.

Meet with the CFO periodically to review open AR and discuss the status of collection efforts.

Work with inside and outside sales teams to coordinate activities with customers including changes to credit terms and advance payments.

Position Requirements:

Patience and professionalism in dealing with customers, gaining customer confidence in Knapheide.

Problem solving along with analytical and decision making skills.

Knowledgeable of AR business systems as well as Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook and Excel.

Organizational skills with ability to monitor and follow up with issues until they get resolved.

Excellent verbal communication skills, and normal written communication skills are required.

Ability to multitask in fast-pace environment.

Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:

Normal standing, walking and lifting in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting and telephone usage
