Fleet Order Management Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Primary purpose is to provide direction in the daily operations of order entry and order revision activities. This would include managing order logging, order conversion and material dates that will allow Knapheide to meet our customer's expectations. This position is responsible for monitoring the established portal dashboards, exception reporting and established policies/procedures tied to order execution. This position will serve as a liaison between Fleet Order Management department and Knapheide internal departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as a company-wide resource involved in problem solving and resolving issues that require critical thinking and implementing process improvements or new process development.
• Oversee all aspects of order execution and order management for Fleet, Industrial Products and Truck Pool installation orders.

• Oversee all aspects of order entry for loose bodies and repair parts program for National Fleet Customers.
• Work with Director of Fleet Operations with the continued development of improved lean business processes that drive improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in order execution.
• Supervise and provide direction to service representatives tied to exception report management and FMC orders status reporting.
• Assist Fleet Account Managers, Truck Pool CSRs, IP Manager and Truck Pool Director in trouble shooting and problem solving of all order discrepancies tied to the execution of customer orders.
• Plan and organize activities for service representatives. Effectively utilizing personnel to achieve short and long term goals. Provide training for team members as necessary.

• Work with Director of Fleet Operations on performance evaluations of service representatives by providing feedback on individual performance.

Position Requirements:

• Five years' experience as Fleet Service Representative preferred.
• Must have demonstrated excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Candidate needs to have excellent project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities in tight time constraints.
• Must be proactive and willing to follow up on all issues.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels within the Knapheide organization will be required. Individual need excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Minimum of two-year college degree is required.

Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:

Normal standing, bending, walking and lifting in an office environment.
