Graphic Designer

Position Purpose: Create collateral for projects requested from various departments within Knapheide Manufacturing as well as personnel from 25+ company owned locations across the country with a high level of quality and by given deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral including but not limited to flyers, newsletters, presentations, literature brochures, tradeshow displays, and social media and website graphics.
• Obtain input from management and clients, ensuring that designs meet the needs of the request, follow brand guidelines and represent the company appropriately.
• Must be able to prepare projects for print or distribution while simultaneously meeting requirements of outside vendors for tangible products.
• Other responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with planning, set-up, tear down, and support for customer events including, but not limited to, sales schools, tradeshows and dealer training events.

Position Skills/Educational Requirements:

• BA/BS in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Marketing, Communication or related field or a two-year college degree with comparable experience. Two-three years' experience in graphic design or related field.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite of products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and brand guidelines.
• Must have a keen eye for aesthetics and superior attention to detail.
• Be able to work independently and cooperatively, have good team working skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with DSLR camera and photography equipment, preferred.
• Be able to provide a portfolio of work to showcase graphic design experience.
