Industrial Products Account Manager

Position Purpose: Extensive phone contact with the customers on a daily basis providing general customer service. Assisting customers with questions, status, and manage all assigned Industrial Products accounts. Order execution and management are critical.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Position will serve as quarterback/key contact for assigned IP accounts by coordinating all strategic and tactical projects relating to assigned IP accounts.
· Will direct multi-discipline account team resources by leading meetings to ensure that IP customers receive specified vehicles in a timely fashion.
· Will assist Engineering, Purchasing, and Quoting with specification and development of vehicles.
· Responsible for leading cross functional teams related to specific customers' requests including trouble shooting and problem solving of day-to-day issues.
· Responsible to verify order accuracy and schedule completion on orders with Manufacturing.
· Will direct account reps with order assignments.
· Assist Engineering and Product Support/Warranty teams with product/safety issues.
· Ensure that all prototype unit reviews are performed and documented with cross functional teams.
· Ensure that quotes are turned around and delivered in a timely fashion and that they match the customer requirements.
· Support outside sales efforts to build effective customer relationships.
· Support company initiatives and goals by executing other duties as assigned.

Position Skill or Educational Requirements:

· Four-year college degree required or equivalent job experience.

· Requires experience with Microsoft Office products and ERP/MRP systems.

· Must have excellent problem solving and communication skills.

· Candidate needs to have excellent project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities in tight time constraints.

· Must be proactive and willing to follow up on all issues.

Physical/mental requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the position:

· Position involves sitting and use of computer for periods of time.

· Moderate travel to key account customers is necessary.
