Lead Man - Paint Department

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Phoenix, AZ is looking to hire an experienced full-time Lead Man for the Paint Department to direct, manage, and assist employees in the department, ensuring job standards are met. This position works Monday – Friday from 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM; additional overtime as needed or required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist employees; providing proper tools, information, and feedback
• Conduct audit inspection on all completed units
• Update warranty log sheet
• Ensure best practices are consistently followed

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Our ideal candidate has expert knowledge of both paint and body repair, is dependable, detail oriented, self-motivated, communicates effectively with team members, and is able to multi-task and prioritize job duties. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Previous paint and body repair experience, including welding and fabrication
