Millwright/Electrician Apprentice
Maintenance Skilled Trades Training Opening
A four year skill trades program is being implemented. It will include:
- Four years of on the job training (8320 hours)
- Course work through John Wood Community College paid by Knapheide
- Outside training as needed
- Rotational assignments on first, second, third and weekend shifts
Upon successful completion the individual will be placed in a Journeyman position.
Factors to be considered for selection are:
- Attendance record
- Safety Record
- Discipline Record
- Previous Experience
- Having a Valid Driver's License
- Aptitude Exam Results
- Ability to work at all heights
- Selection is at the discretion of the Company
Individuals will have a five year commitment once they complete the training program. Any one who leaves the program during the training period or before they complete their five year commitment will be required to reimburse the Company for educational expenses.
