Senior Installation Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establishes installation standard hours for all KTEC local and fleet standard builds across the enterprise.
• Establishes installation hours on custom and unique IP quote opportunities.
• Escalate labor discrepancies for review as needed.
• Review and optimization of installation times with mass orders. Support launch of mass orders at installation locations.
• Lead post mortem reviews to ensure lessons learned are communicated to Engineering and Quoting for updates for future builds.
• Conducts virtual and onsite prototype reviews with Engineering, KTEC locations and customers.
• Customer engagement through tours in West Quincy, customer fly-ins and spec reviews.
• Identify installation opportunities for improvement and provide input for how to best balance installation capacity across KTEC facilities for centralized upfits.
• Support KTEC training programs as requested.
• Performs other duties, assignments, and special projects assigned.

Position Requirements:

• 10 - 15 years of commercial truck body experience required. Installation experience highly preferred.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to execute tasks independently.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good PC skills with a working knowledge of AS400, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to maintain focus and convey a positive attitude during challenging situations.
• Ability to interact successfully with all functional areas of the company.
• Must possess good organizational skills and willingness to take ownership of areas of responsibility.
• Willingness to travel with respect to the position activities as required.

Physical/mental requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the position:

• Normal standing, bending, walking, lifting in an office environment.
• Ability to verbally communicate with individuals at any corporate level.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer multiple continuous hours per day.
